Bobbie Socks

To describe this little mare in one word, sweet. Bobbie Socks has a heart of Gold, and is eager to share it with all those who will give her a little love and attention. Bobbie Socks found us through her old friend, a horse that was brought to Bethany Pappani for training. Bobbie Socks, being her companion for many years, was too devastated to be left behind, so she joined in on the adventure to Bethany Pappani Training. Since her stay, Bobbie Socks has really come out of her shell. Prior to her arrival, Bobbie Socks lost a pregnancy, which with her gentle heart, caused stress and devastation. Bethany Pappani stabilized her health and invited Bobbie Socks to become a full-time team member. This is when the story gets really sweet! Bobbie Socks was soon introduced to Ricochet. That day, Bobbie Socks found her passion for life again. The immediate bond between the minis cannot be described in words. It’s as if they found their soul mates. Since then, Bobbie Socks and Ricochet have continued to be the best of friends. Bobbie Socks opened her heart to Ricochet and gained confidence in being a Miniature Horse again. She may never forget the loss of her baby, but she will remember her love for Ricochet and her love for life. Bobbie Socks’ interactions with children can be described at patient, gentle, and one of a kind. Bobbie Socks also dresses up and entertains at birthday parties and other special youth events. Children can also work one-on-one with Bobbie Socks in grooming, bathing, and most importantly, building connections, establishing trust, and opening the lines of communication between horse and rider. Bobbie Socks also participates in therapeutic visits and interactions along with Ricochet. Her enormous heart is a blessing here at Reins on Manes and we are excited to share the amazing amount of love she has to give.
