Our Team

Reins on Manes was created by a team of equine and educational professionals with one mission in mind, to share a love of horses with children and to connect them with experiences that will foster courage in their capabilities and confidence in their accomplishments. Each team member has dedicated their hearts and minds to bring Reins on Manes to the San Diego Community. Creators Bethany Pappani and Cristen Boerman stand strong behind this organization, believing in the mission, and trusting in the healing potential that lies within a true connection with horses.

Each team member is available to readily answer any questions that you may have. Ranch orientations are available to familiarize yourself with team members. Come on out and meet us! Formal references and parents testimonials are available by request.

While at Reins on Manes, your family will receive individualized attention and scheduling flexibility to allow for each child to make the most of their time spent. Reins on Manes team members work together to provide a safe atmosphere in which children, horses, and families can come together.

• All team members are CPR/First Aid Certified. 
• All team members have been fingerprinted with the State of California. 
• All team members have 20+ years equine experience. 
• All team members follow outlined emergency protocol.
• All team members communicate daily regarding enrolled children.
